Did anyone see the CEOs ear?

Earlier this week I talked to an executive assistant. She told me that sometimes her colleagues prefer to tell her about their problems rather than talk to their boss.

"They know I have his ear," she said.

And - "it's part of my job to keep an ear to the ground".

I have this picture in my head of the executive handing over his ear to the executive assistant ๐Ÿ’โ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ‘‚๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™€๏ธ

Followed by a second picture where the executive assistant carefully puts her boss's ear on the office floor next to the coffee machine ๐Ÿ’โ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ‘‚โ˜•๏ธ

I can see why it works. Or rather why it used to work.

But what happens now that all employees drink their coffee from home? Where do the assistant put the executive's ear?
